- A very unique and (possibly) innovative one.
- A very old one, which nobody launched in the last two years, so we don't have it in our product collection.
- Or an idea so bad (or obviously impossible to build) no one dared to build it.
We recommend the following
- Create a simple webpage explaining your solution and track how many people sign up for updates
- Find 5 people who might face this problem and offer to solve it for them manually
- Ask potential users what they currently do about this problem and what frustrates them
- Only consider building if at least 3 out of 10 people you talk to would pay for a solution
- Spend no more than 2 weeks on validation before deciding
